I really do enjoy working here. At least in my department, my supervisor is incredibly understanding and flexible with time I need to take for doctors appointments and PTO. They give you opportunities to take courses, earn designations and advance your knowledge of the insurance industry. The benefits are pretty good as well. They have a lot of company fun time, which I enjoy. The cons are that it is a company that is pretty behind on technological advances because so many employees are older. The PTO and sick leave is generous. However, it is designed for the older generation (i.e. people no longer starting families, and starting to get ill with age). So while they give you opportunity to earn a lot of PTO and Sick leave, you have to work there for a long time and not take any of the sick/annual leave for a few years in order to really build it up.

This is a good place if you're just starting your career. That's about it. You'll gain more knowledge elsewhere. Technology is behind and workplace culture is on the low side.

Company promotes from within. Most of the staff have been with the company for years, which speaks volumes for the company culture. Lots of support and complete training to ensure the job is done right.

Very hands-off about training, more of an info-dump rather than a learning opportunity. Supervisors will not help out anyone. No team players exist here. Company will not hire from within for supervisor positions. We get to leave at 3:00 on Friday, pay is great, but I have PTSD from the stress of working here. Would not recommend this company.
