We should be able to wear the clothing we sale as in the JEANS on display ..
I believe they are in the process of changing their dress code policies, but I was told no sneakers, no shoes that would be considered ones you’d wear on a beach or at a pool, no piercings, no visible tattoos, no jeans unless they are polished, dress jean material as in, I guess, a knit type of jean. You do not have to dress in a business suit each day but think “ business casual”. Some of the younger managers wear leggings, wear extremely minimal or basic sandals, and they often wear a cute top they have bought at Cato. No piercings at my store, but we do have several people with ratios who do not hide them. Nothing has been said ... yet.
I just wear cute dresses that I've bought at yardsales :)

The dress code was unfair because we couldn't even wear the clothes we bought from the store. We had to wear long skirts or dress pants, but not the trendy merchandise that the store sales.
