Great management

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Management is extremely supportive, but career growth seems difficult. The working environment is very positive and managers and superiors listen to their employees concerns.

Management needs work

Don not get me wrong, this job is very rewarding if this is something you are passionate about however MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. I have been bullied and physically threatened by coworkers and when this was brought to management they did nothing. I did not feel heard or valued or safe. Work life balance is meh. Be prepared to work a lot of overtime and struggle for raises. They will let patients bully you and make you uncomfortable.

CCRM New York is an amazing place to work! management is so supportive! I can not say enough about the culture and the team work. If i wasn't moving i would never leave!

Do Not Recommend

I would not recommend working here. You will likely be overworked and stressed for a low wage. They do not provide proper training and there are lots of office politics.

Very friendly atmosphere and professional with a strong sense of care

I absolutely love working for CCRM. Everyone is treated like family here and they really care and are concerned about every employees thought and recommendations for the company. They truly take the time to listen. A typical work day starts with a smile and ends with a smile because of our management staff here you can go to anyone all the way to the Executives and they are more than willing to help you or point you to the right person. The actual workplace is why I love this job there are so many kind people here and from so many different walks of life it makes talking to people fun and exciting. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to help others all day and build that trust with them that they know if they ask me for something it will get handled in a timely manner. There is no micro managing and always someone willing to help. They are so generous to all the employees they provide so many extra's. An amazing place to be

Pros

Gym Access in our building, Employee Lounge in building, snacks provider for all employees once a day.

Toxic, negative, drama filled, childish behavior, co-worker crying daily and it’s acceptable.

What is the best part of working at the company? The physician and the lunch and coffee perks from drug reps. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Co-workers talking about other co-workers behind their backs. Very immature and negative. No teamwork. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Negative. The manager talks to other employees behind your back so they can take sides. Very toxic environment. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Busy. Your co-worker leaves to get breakfast for 20 minutes leaving you to keep up with your patients and her patients, while she sits and eats and then decides to help out when it benefits her.

Team environment with everyone assisting patients to meet their dream to become parents.

I worked at CCRM Colorado from 1996 to 2015, and then again from 2018 through June, 2022 until I retired. The patients can be difficult due to their individual stressors related to their infertility diagnosis. CCRM Colorado provides the most comprehensive, compassionate, individualized infertility medical care in the world. The team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, receptionists, psych counselors, genetic counselors, lab techs, embryologists, patient finance representatives, ultrasound techs, HSG techs, surgery center staff, CCS testing team, research staff, I.T. Staff, administrative support staff, etc. work tirelessly together to help patients obtain and maintain their pregnancies. If you want to see miracles performed in which the toughest medical cases of infertile women get pregnant, this is the place for you.

Pros

1) Great physicians and staff in all departments, 2) Everyone truly cares about helping patients achieve their dreams of becoming pregnant.

Cons

A few patients can be very difficult despite the endless efforts of team members to help them.

Good pay and benefits, overworked and stressful at times

Good pay and benefits that start pretty quickly, nice schedule. However, all the doctors, nurses and staff are short staffed and overworked, making it difficult to accommodate all of the patients. Patients would get upset and lash out because of this, which was very stressful.

Good pay and benefits

Management not great. Not friendly and a lot of talking behind other's backs. Enjoyed some of my coworkers as long as they weren't management. Pay was awesome.

Awful company to work for

The management at CCRM is horrible. Most of the he uppe management is unqualified, the communication is terrible and the founder of the company is out of touch. They make little to no effort to make any kind of improvements to work processes or technology. They are too focused on what they have accomplished in the past which is preventing them to improve. The IT director is unorganized, and doesn't have any clear ideas or a path to help move them forward with the available technology. He lacks the experience and expertise to help this company move forward. They continue to force the staff to use primitive technology and old methods for their day to day which causes them more work and allows them to fall behind. Opportunities for growth are slim to none. With it being a small company in the corporate side, it makes it very difficult to stay with them long term. Due to it being busy and understaffed, it leaves the managers no opportunities to do One on Ones or speak with the staff about career development. Upper management puts no effort into changing these management behaviors. CCRM has a strong history being at the forefront of fertility medicine and making strong advancements in the field. Other fertility companies have now caught up to CCRM and are able to provide similar if not better results and offer better work environments with strong career paths.

Pros

Pays well

Cons

Over worked, under staffed, horrible communication, little to no career advancement

Revolving door due to lack of qualified and effective leadership

I had no issue with my job duties or my coworkers, however, I quickly realized there was a revolving door and no room for advancement. Upper management is severely underqualified and that is reflected in micromanagement and lack of care for employees. Working long hours is encouraged and work/life balance is reserved for a select few. It is unfortunate that there are highly skilled workers being passed on for the very few promotions offered. There was a noticeable pattern of hiring externally, instead of promoting internal talent. There is no company culture. The company lacks diversity and made very little effort to be inclusive. Would not encourage POC , parents (or anyone who values/needs work/life balance) or anyone who would like to advance in their career to apply/work here.

Pros

You'll get paid on time but it might not be correct.

Cons

Only reason I do not recommend is because of management.

Doctors are great to work with. Management is horrendous there is no HR on site it is in Colorado they do not take issues and concerns seriously. It is a revolving door of skilled staff because of the micromanaging manager continued policies and procedures changes on a whim, no room for advancement unless you’re friends with the hiring manager or severely under qualified for the position. It is a great company if you are a patient and it would be a fabulous place to work if there was different management.Management makes your work life miserable constantly walking on eggshells due to under qualified managing.

Great place to work and learn new skills

I worked here for a short time, but I learned so much. I had zero fertility experience when I started, but everyone was supportive in helping me learn. I was able to interact and form friendships across many departments. Everyone was pleasant to work with and if I had questions it was easy to ask for help. While there are groups of people who have worked here for a while and have established friendships I never felt unwelcome.

Pros

We often get free lunch, and the benefits package offers is great.

Cons

No tuition reimbursement.

They are now a corporation and do not care

Once they went corporate, everything went downhill. All they care about is money now. Employees do not matter to them. HR and managers simply ignore everything.

Horrible Management

Pay seems great, but they don’t explain the work load prior to accepting. They do not provide adequate or proper training. Some employees are nice, but overall it was not a great experience. Best of luck to those who get hired.

Pros

The science behind the clinic

Cons

Management, co workers, and half hour lunches for a long long day of work.

Strong Team Environment/Rapid Growth

I enjoy my work and my colleagues. The physicians are truly great to work with too, which is always nice and not always easy to find in healthcare. I get the sense that management really cares. They jump in to help out when it’s busy and we are short staffed, and it’s really busy a lot of the time. For the most part the pace is okay, but can be stressful at times too, especially since staffing has been difficult since COVID, and it takes time to learn fertility. Overall, I really enjoy my job and the people I work with, and will enjoy it even more as we continue to build our team to keep up with the growth!

Pros

Teamwork, collaborative

Cons

Busy
