Cruise Vacation Planner (Current Employee) –  Weston, FLFebruary 27, 2018
The culture at Celebrity Cruises was a family environment. I enjoyed working there and everyone was friendly and willing to help for the betterment of the team. However, there was a lack of growth, many lateral movements but minimal promotions.
Pros
atomsphere

Poor work environment (Hostile and cliquish) avoid working here
Guest Relations (Former Employee) –  Wichita, KSJanuary 7, 2018
Management is very poor, if not involved in kissing butt or joining the clique you will be eliminated. Discussions among sups and employees on who should be fired, employees will answer questions but then report back to sup that you are asking too many questions which will lead to a write up and eventual termination.
Cons
management is extremely poor, HR violations, unprofessional, very rude and not helpful

Its a challenging place to work as almost all the cruise ships. People are treated like numbers but it pays better than a job in the land.
recommended if you want to see the world and make some money in a penalty of a lifestyle

Sound Technician/Rigger (Current Employee) –  Miami, FLNovember 22, 2017
Long hours, low pay. Great for Non US or British residents who need to make USD for their families. You get to see the world but your time outside is very, very limited. Easy to get stuck onboard for weeks at a time due to understaffing.
