The ability to make healthy choices is critical when people face peer pressure, loss, painful transitions, and other difficulties. The Center for Humanistic Change engages community members in building skills to address life’s challenges. Armed with positive skills, participants are better able to make healthy decisions and avoid destructive behaviors while building resiliency.
The Center for Humanistic Change delivers customized workshops for children and adults in partnership with schools, businesses, and community organizations. Topics include: violence and bullying prevention; relationship and family skills; personal life skills; and alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use prevention.
As the name implies, the Center for Humanistic Change believes that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling life. The programs are client-centered, tailored to the specific audience, and delivered in a nurturing and respectful environment.
