Fun place, great learning opportunity.
Middle East Intern (Former Employee) –  Washington, DCJanuary 16, 2018
As an intern for the Center for International Policy, I worked in the Security Assistance Monitor Program. It was a great place to learn about defense issues and security assistance. It gave me a great niche skill set.
Cons
Low pay for interns.

Independent Research Expert (Current Employee) –  Washington, DCJuly 21, 2016
I learned about how cohesive teams, work and function from the top on down, and from the bottom up!

The most enjoyable part of the job is working in politics, and researching government solutions.

COMMON DEFENSE INTERN (Former Employee) –  Washington, DCMay 12, 2014
The time spent here was done during an internship. People would come in a little after 9am, it was generally a relaxed environment but one where work was accomplished.
