Member Service Representative- Level 2 (Current Employee) –  Jamaica, NYNovember 6, 2018
This is a great place for those who are looking to get a great a start in their career. They are unique in a way they will advance employees from the inside. This is great for those who want to learn and looking for growth.Especially if you are looking to break into the healthcare field. If you are a beginner Nurse. They are always in need of nurses and they are expanding.

The salary can be better and the benefits too.
Depending on where you live the travel can be time consuming.
Pros

Easy place to work. Innovation is hampered. Prepare to have your soul beaten down. Not a place for highly energized technical employees. Far too bureaucratic.

This job will exhaust you mentally, physically, and spiritually. If you like being treated like a robot, then this company is for you.
RN Care Manager (Current Employee) –  Bronx, NYAugust 13, 2018
Management sets unrealistic expectations and are clueless about how a typical day goes for an NCM. Nurses are treated like factory workers and are pulled in a million directions. Cleaning up reports so the CTMs look productive take priority over responding to real issues and concerns for your members. Interdepartmental communication is discouraged. All questions are supposed to be funnullef through the CTM, which is a waste of time instead of just picking up the phone or emailing the appropriate Dept. Continuing Education is a term used to disguise throwing people in a class room setting just to teach Care Managers how to do more work (i.e. how to assist with processing CDPAP bs!!) Upper management generally cares less about obtaining input from the staff. The place is run like a tyranny and the CTMs are not experienced enough to contribute anything valuable. They exist only to run reports and tell you what you are not doing rather than serve as an intermediary between workers and upper mgmt . The only way to survive their expectations and remain timely is to skip lunch/breaks and work overtime without pay. Some rarely get up for water or bathroom breaks trying to meet daily quotas However, if you leave an hour early and it comes out of your PTO real quick!!!!
Pros
Work from home 1 day per week, hires new grads, earn 1 day off every paycheck. Flexible with PTO use.
Cons
Slave ship culture

Centers Plan for Healthy Living would be a better company if Managers would show less favoritism and focus more on job performance. Employees work happier and productivity increases when their effort is recognized.

Cons
Stressful. Continuesly changing workflow creating alot of confusion and stress, with little or no support.

Field Assessment Nurse (Current Employee) –  New York, NYFebruary 19, 2018
Must have a well functioning vehicle to travel and don't mind the daily grind of traffic and finding legit parking in heavily populated areas. Finding a good work and life balance really depends on the person and can become difficult especially if you have children. Paperwork is heavy depending on what kind of assessment was done. Meeting deadlines and conducting good assessments can take time. Most patients are interesting and show gratitude.

They do not care about their employees.
