Needs Improvement
LPN (Former Employee) - Uniontown, PA - April 16, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedWhile this isn't the worst place I have worked, I did not enjoy coming to work. "Toxic work culture" is what I think of when I think of this place. However, the pay was decent, the hours are great and you can't beat their medical insurance.

National Certified Medical Assistant (Former Employee) - Washington, PA - June 29, 2023
The pay is great. But work life balance is non existent there and they don’t care less. If you have children don’t bother working here as they don’t want to hear about you needing to tend to your kids.
Pros
Pay
Cons
Work life balance and mental health

Awful
Psychiatric Technician (Former Employee) - Fredericktown, PA - May 23, 2023
The pay is awful and the management is rude! They have their favorites and if you are not one you are treated terribly. I loved working with the clients but other than that it was awful

would not recommend
Clerk Typist (Former Employee) - Fredericktown, PA - March 7, 2023
Bad management, communication, and administration. No one has your best interest in mind. I cannot remember the last time I was ever told that my hard work was appreciated. Untrustworthy co-workers and chronic gossipers made the job ten times more stressful. Not to mention ungrateful and aggressive patients. Job description and clinic rules would change each day.
Pros
Health insurance
Cons
everything else

Bad management
Receptionist (Former Employee) - Centerville, PA - January 15, 2023
Dont recommend. Bad management that doesn't care about the employees. No consistency in regards to training. Told one thing day and the next told that you are wrong.

Like every job it has it’s good and bad. You have good staff that will help you learn and succeed and make sure you are trained the right way from day one

Awful Job
Certified Medical Assistant (Former Employee) - Fredericktown, PA - October 1, 2021
This is one of the worst jobs there is. I would never recommend this place to anyone. From the pay to management, this place is trouble. BEWARE! They do not care that you are sick or if you have coronavirus that you caught at THEIR hands, they want you there. And God forbid you need to be off, forget about it. Management all the way up is horrendous. They all gossip to one another, you truly have no one to speak to in confidentiality. Oh and did I mention, they HIDE in your contract that they can send you to ANY office at ANY time. So even if you’re from Washington, they need you in Connellsville, guess where you’re going- Connellsville.

Poor Management
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (Former Employee) - Donora, PA - January 26, 2021
There are no nurses to run to for a problem or to run the offices. But instead you have MA’s that are uncertified, you have reception that are office managers and you hear phlebotomist as your manager. What ever happen to having a nurse on the floor for that reason.

Overall it is a great place to work.
Medical Assistant (Current Employee) - Washington, PA - December 30, 2020
I look forward to going to work everyday. I enjoy my job, my coworkers and the supportive environment. They do a great job with making sure the place is clean and sanitized as well as making sure we have ample access to hand sanitizer and masks.
Pros
Pay

A place for regret
Behavioral Health Specialist (Former Employee) - Fredericktown, PA - October 22, 2020
Depends which department. For Behavioral Health it's a mess starting with administration. They encourage employees to maximize billing at any cost and generally it's only possible to achieve their demands by either working unpaid hours or to bill more time than you actually spent (fraud, waste & abuse). The patients care is far less important than maximizing billable time. Many unhappy employees. Worthless union you're locked into. Employer threatens employees anytime union leverage is attempted. Average benefits. Minimal chance of upward movement. If you vocalize your problems you're scorned from vengeful administration who will make your work life miserable. The clients are great. The employer is awful.
Pros
time off
Cons
Poor and mean administration, bad union, supervisors at mercy of administration

Meaningful work
Therapeutic Staff Support (Current Employee) - Centerville, PA - October 5, 2020
CC is a good place to work. The BHRS program is better organized and the duties are very clear. The only negative is having to pay union dues without any real union benefits.
Pros
Flexibility
Cons
Paying dues

It’s trash
Phlebotomist (Current Employee) - Centerville, PA - September 29, 2020
The administration doesn’t care about its employees just the bottom dollar. They will hire you telling you your job duties and office location will be one place just for them to make you go to multiple outside offices and change your job duties drastically daily. The union does absolutely nothing for its people and management doesn’t care about you.

Good work life balance. LOVE my flexible schedule.
Case Manager (Current Employee) - Carmichaels, PA - August 16, 2020
Typical day involves managing your case-load schedule for that day and traveling to your scheduled appointments. I learned to become organized in time and appointment handling. You have regular meetings with your supervisor to review areas of daily routine. Working with the community is a very enjoyable part of the job. Most importantly, I am able to balance my work schedule so that I can meet my own family's needs.
Pros
Great pay, time off, flexible schedule.

Pros
The pay is above average.
Cons
None

Great Co-Workers
Clinical Social Worker (Current Employee) - Washington, PA - January 28, 2020
Centerville Clinics offers job stability and a steady flow of clients. Its online software for progress notes needs improvement, and there is a fair amount of turnover. Co-workers are pretty great.

Good agency with good mission.
Psychiatric Technician (Current Employee) - Washington, PA - January 19, 2020
I enjoy working here and enjoy my job. I feel appreciated as an employee. My job can be difficult at times, but I can take time off as needed for personal reasons. The pay and vacation time are very generous. I am able to easily balance my personal life and work life. Staff and management are friendly and helpful.
