No where near the best but I’ve worked for worse

Central is okay, not the best employer but not the worst. They definitely don’t really care about their employees to be honest. If they did, the benefits wouldn’t be as bad as they are. Not competitive pay with other LTL companies. Whatever the average pay is among other companies in your area, Central will be about $3-4 less an hour. Need to be there a long time before you get decent vacation time. Insurance is probably the worst package I’ve ever seen. If I had a family I wouldn’t work here.

Good company to gain experience with

Don’t settle theirs better paying jobs with better benefits and overtime after 8 hours or 40 week hours. It’s a good company to start with but I rode it out for too long.. if they had overtime hours after 8 hours and better benefits I would of retired from here..

Decent

It was decent, the equipment wasn’t great. The trailers were barely legal and the scanners often had problems. but my coworkers were awesome!
