Centura Health Physician Group (CHPG) is a thriving multi-specialty group with over 200 practices across Colorado and western Kansas and CHPG is not closing. In fact, Peter Banko, CEO, Centura Health and Scott Ellner, DO, CEO, CHPG are working to strengthen our physician group and transform to a physician-facing organization. We are hosting a physician advance event in November and our Physician Alignment Strategy group has been meeting since April to strengthen and grow our physician relationships. Has anybody else been asked to re-interview for their current job as a means for Centura to avoid paying severance to associates they are planning lay off?
Yep, only at their convienience, they don't have to be fair or treat employees equal somehow, I know of one coworker they made reapply for her current job then another one didn't have to because they wanted him to have the position.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen is required of a new hire. As of November 21, 2019, we no longer test for cotinine. However, we are still a smoke/tobacco free workplace.
