There’s a huge disparity between the mission Centura claims to have and the actual things going on. Centura doesn’t function based on merit, good results, and god reputation. Decisions are based on popularity, politics and self-serving interests. The term “leadership” is used very very loosely.

Banko is a smart man. He claims that if all the employees act as one, they will create an unstopable force. Unfortunately for Banko, his bad decisions have united the employees. Now we are united to stop the downfall of Centura. We are united to bring in new leadership.

The show how out of touch leadership is, they want Centura to become the top employer in Colorado. To achieve this they have:
1. Given 1% raises the past 3 years.
2. Had the employees cover more of the health insurance cost.
3. Laid off 10% of employees (not management)
4. Flexing clinical staff so they do not get their hours.
5. Cut all parties and celebrations.
6. Cut all overtime yet still force people to work without getting paid.

Amoung employees the work environment is great, management is different story. I think that they try to pen employees against one another by singling out one specific employee around the "Big Heads" when they visit by saying what a great job he/ she does and they the reason why this or that is going great. We work as a team, we are a team why would you try to sabotage that? I thought that is what the core values are base on togetherness to make it a better work environment for employees so that we can do the best for our patients. The company will be great to work for if you just get rid of the Snakes

After less than a month on the job, the new CEOs purpose is very clear. He is there to cut expenses to make Centura more attractive to be acquired. Physicians are leaving left and right. Overall pay is light years behind the competition. They are laying off employees that have over 30 years of service. This is a failing company that uses religion to their benefit. Years of mismanagement have created a hole that is too deep for Centura to climb out of.
