Company was very unprofessional when conducting layoffs. Promised to raise pay but never did, but they definitely made sure to always add more work loads. Only certain employees were offered “mental health days” but not the coordination team.

I have been with Cerebral for over two years. There is no guarantee of work but you are required to committ at least 20 hours. Many employees schedule 20 hours for just a few hours of work. They have overhired to the point that there is no longer enough work for everybody. We are being audited constantly thanks to the increased scrutiny Cerebral is under. My biggest complaint is that they do very little to retain employees. Those of us who have worked hard for them and have been loyal are being told that there isn't enough work so leave if you want yet they are still hiring new employees rather than licensing those of us who have been loyal in states with higher demand. They are no longer adverstising as much to keep their employees busy. There is much unpaid work. You must do refills and answer patient questions M-F whether you work that day or not and sometimes lately there is more of this type of unpaid work that there are patient visits. The EMR while easy -is very redundant and not yet well integrated. The medication system is a nightmare. There is a ticket system you use if you need any help for a patient and it can take days for those to be answered. I do not recommend working for Cerebral right now.
Clinical Coordinator in WFH

I loved this job until they decided to announce mass layoffs, then proceed to give literally 0 details until day of. Absolutely no communication was provided, no reason for the layoffs, no details. They didn't even lay people off based on merit. I was in the top 3% and was laid off instead of people who did less than a quarter of my volume and customer satisfaction. The leadership is so obviously greedy its kind of disgusting. You can tell in every meeting they do that they give 0 amount of care about their employees or patients.Overall, they pay and benefits were decent, work life balance was good if you are good with computers. But everything else was scummy and anxiety inducing.

This is one of the best jobs I've ever had. I work part-time & set my own schedule. The company is future-thinking, motivated & cares about its employees & clients. My managers are fun & supportive. I'm learning so much!

I’ve been with cerebral since the beginning of 2022. I set my own schedule, have a great manager & paid supervision. As with most organizations, especially a newer one, things are always changing (systems, policies etc). We tend to have a lot of trainings but they are paid. Overall it’s been a good experience so far.
