Fast paced work environment with a chance to work with a team
Food prep/cook (Former Employee) –  San Rafael, CAMay 21, 2019
While prepping and cooking and packaging foods, I learned a lot about teamwork and timing and organization on this job. It was fast paced and familial - the staff were always had a plan and were happy to help the volunteers. The best part was working with other people and laughing while making good food. I genuinely enjoyed it.

Great experience that gives back to the community
Kitchen Assistant (Former Employee) –  Sebastopol, CAAugust 2, 2018
Volunteering at Ceres was a great experience for me. I learned so much more than I expected that I would. For example, knife skills in the kitchen, gardening, and safety and sanitation in the kitchen. Overall, I am very proud to have been a part of such an inspiring project that grows, cooks, and delivers healthy food to local cancer patients.
Pros
Help others in the communtiy
Cons
