Scheduled for 3-11:30. 30 min UNPAID lunch break AUTOMATICALLY taken out of your shift, but RARELY can you actually take the break so you're really working 8.5 hours and only getting paid for 8. If (when) third staff calls out, you will be required to stay and work that shift too...with another unpaid 30 min break you still can't take. That's 11pm - 7:30 am (or, in reality, whenever first shift decides to show up...they can still legally make you stay and they WILL). Back same day you finish your suprise double, and expected to be on time in the door and on the floor by 3pm. Get ready for another double...their "asterisk" system is supposed to rotate but it never has and never will.
Tldr; Scheduled 8.5 hrs, expect to work 17 with 1 hr unpaid without break.

In the grouphomes, not really. Other than 1st aid/cpr/aed and restraints training, theit policies & procedures constantly change and unless you're working 24/7 you're unlikely to be notified. HR has no clue either about any of the policies.
