How do you feel about going to work each day at CGH Medical Center?

3 answers

Fear. Fear of being understaffed. Shift coordinators would often call off any extra staff that signed up and leave us bare to add any additional admissions or transfers. Never used to feel this way, but the last year or two it continues to get worse. They are finally acknowledging the problem with turnover rates and looking at bringing in travel nurses.

I dreaded work everyday! It wasn’t my direct co-workers or physician... it was management! They need to clean house and start from the top. Major favoritism!

I enjoyed going to work. Just hard to move up in the healthcare field without going back to school.
