This has been my first job in child care and it’s been amazing. The people are nice and management helps you to the best of their ability. They also are helpful and encouraging to get me back to school.

I worked here for one year, and I absolutely loved it. It was a phenomenal learning experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything. There were some excellent teachers on staff who showed me the ropes, because let's face it: working with kids is challenging. I wouldn't say workplace drama was an issue for me because I was there to serve the children, their families, and my coworkers. If you go into this job honestly and with a good attitude, then you'll enjoy it. The management also did their best to give raises and to keep up with the cost of living. Free lunches were definitely a thing, too, which I appreciated.

I worked at Chapin Baptist for 5 years. I love it there! You get to work with children everyday and you are instrumental in the growth and development of young children. The management always has your best interest in mind and if you ever have any question the director has an open door policy and will always listen to you. As a lead teacher you do lesson planning to teach the kids and the management team is always there for you to bounce your ideas off of. There is also opportunity for growth. I had multiply promotions in my time there. It’s like any job, if you work hard and put your best effort in then you will succeed.

The days are busy and non stop, the children and families are wonderful to work with and the teachers are a close knit family. Management will stop and pray with you, be there for you through hard times. The hardest part of the job is saying goodbye to children when they move up to the next class. The most enjoyable part of the job is watching the children learn and grow, and the look on their faces at each new discovery.
