I stay for my coworkers not for management...
The career growth is not bad. I started here as an AC Tech II then later on (after being interviewed) got promoted to Breeder Tech I.
Most of my coworkers are not bad (used to be all) but now with all the stress from management and work the team is starting to burn down. If one person calls out or takes time off we are straining to get things done - more... but they see us as fully staffed with 2 AC IVs, 2 breeder techs, 2 study techs, 3 AC IIs, and 4 cage wash staff. We take care of 15 animal rooms with mice and rats (mainly mice) along with ~8 side tasks. - less

Conslow staff seen as fully staffed in a busy facility, overworked, poor management, not enough time off options or days, poor communication, passing on of work from management, trust being lost between coworkers, etc.
