Server in Charleston, SC
on September 10, 2022

Toast of west Ashley, Non consistent, run down location, fluctuating pay because of area and customer genre. Lacking management, very drama filled. If you want a laid back job without fear of discipline this is your restaurant. Pay averaging 100-200 daily when management dosent put 5 servers on the floor with 3 table sections. No expos, food runners, hosts and or busters. Your all in on this one. Only giving three stars because the menu is very simple to upsell, the restaurant lay out is decent where all your tables are near, and the kitchen staff is amazing.

Social Media Marketing Intern in Charleston, SC
on June 10, 2021

I had a very pleasurable experience working as a social media marketing intern at CHG. The position has taught me time management and dedication since the position requires work 7 days a week. It was a great experience to learn more about the marketing side of a hospitality business and working with everyone from hostesses to the head of my department.

Line Cook in Summerville, SC
on May 4, 2021

Skeleton crew, and most of the BOH staff does the bare minimum, leaving work for someone else to do. Pay is decent, but hard to get 35+ hours in a week. Most management in the individual stores are good to work for, but they are severely micro-managed from higher up the chain.
