I work for Chase over 5 years in Telephone banking the job was very stressful. Call are back-to-back, barely had a chance to breathe in between calls. Chase's very pushy and stress customer service. Chase allow customer surveys to affect your annual performance regarding your pay raise. A lot of their policies doesn't allowed you to assist the customer and in turn employees are affected by the surveys no matter how well you perform in other areas of yoyr job. The pay is low in respect to the job duties and the continuance Federal and state regulation for banking that you have to stay abreast of. Most employees go on a stress leave at least once a year if not more. When it comes to management and you're trying to advance within the company they just want you to stay on the phone, maybe just a different area of business like private client, but still being on the phone. If you try to advance to other departments it's very little advancement or open door.
