Good entry level clearance work
Jr. Investigative Analyst (Current Employee) –  Clarksburg, WVJuly 16, 2018
Chenega has been a great company to me. The only downside I can think of is the PM's usually seemed bogged down with a huge workload and don't have much time for employees. Which can be very drastic to a companies success.

Deputy Director (Former Employee) –  Alexandria, VAJune 27, 2018
Pursues and wins federal contracts because they are only chase set-asides that significantly limit competition. A disproportionate number of executives.
Pros
Good workforce
Cons
Too many executives and cold business decsiions

Technical Writer II (Current Employee) –  Emmitsburg, MDJune 26, 2018
Work is steady each day. No room for promotion working for a Federal Contractor unless you could be insourced. Management performs to the best of their ability.

Medical Appointing Clerk (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJune 25, 2018
Management was very professional. Would work for them again if given the opportunity. I learned a lot more and gained more experience in the medical field. All of my concerns were always addressed.

Financial Analyst (Current Employee) –  Lorton, VAJune 22, 2018
Steady workflow, with some outdated processes, do not allow teleworker or rarely allow flexibility with hours. A lot of employees have been here a long time, so it allows for a friendly work environment.

Chenega Facilities BOSS
Estimator (Current Employee) –  Dugway Hollow, UTJune 20, 2018
PTO and sick time are earned per pay period and are not given as a new hire. You are expected to know your job and be a self starter. Benefits are A typical but lacking in coverage, for instance HSA does not get a company supported contribution or match. Overall this company is held accountable to the Government installation to which the contract applies. You need to understand Government is different type of work before accepting an offer.
Pros
Fringe
Cons
Governement

Awful Management
Lead System/Server Administrator (Current Employee) –  Natick, MAJune 19, 2018
Management at all areas of Chenega Corporation are clueless. It would be better if a pack of monkeys ran the day to day activities rather than the people currently in charge.

Contracting
SCIENTIFIC WRITER-EDITOR (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJune 12, 2018
Better than most federal contractors, but still contracting. Chenega tries to build a team and a sense of camaraderie, but realistically, it can't be done in the contract-client environment. The contractor is inevitably the free-agent/lone wolf.
Pros
compensation, time off
Cons
minimal job security

ESL instructor (Former Employee) –  Lackland Airforce BAseJune 11, 2018
The job is a good part time job when you want to have something to do that does not require long commuting time. Some assistant teachers do not have ESL experiences, so you need to work harder.
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Move to a new location where you cannot go

Poor management
Quality Control Inspector (Current Employee) –  Kirtland AFB, NMMay 29, 2018
Management is lacking. A lot of management is afraid of the unions so they choose not to enforce rules. People show up to work when they feel like it and are rarely managed. Rules are not enforced as far as harassment, dresscode, time keeping, etc. are concerned. Stress can be high because there are so many people and things that have to be addressed on a day to day basis. It is nice though that they understand the values of family and rarely ask you to work extra or on your off days.
