What is the best part of working at the company?Vacation and sick days you get right awayWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?Always asked to do more for nothing in returnWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company? Can be laid back at times but higher stress and anxiety than there should be. Management is very poor. Quality control managers in particular. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Can vary depending on the day and who’s asking you to do what

the worst people i have ever worked with

if you like drama and horses**t in your evry day schedule this is the place. the bosses are week and cowardly. coworkers are not very cordial very stuck up people working here company is not bad but they have let the wrong people stay in power to long what i learned was that this company likes people who pass the buck and make excuses. I really wish this job was different but it wasnt i regret everyday that i spent two years putting up with the drama in the shop, not a fan and would not recommend this job to my worst enemy

Pros

workload is light, no pressure.

Bad pay, no training

Bad pay. No training whatsoever. Treated as a para even though it wasn’t my job.High turnover. Was told I’d be traveling the district working with kids. Instead I was stuck at a preschool because they couldn’t get staff in for the bad pay they offer.

Ok

The experience was ok. I really wish the district would raise the pay for teachers. The insurance is a little pricey as well. Overall not a bad experience.

Kids are great. No support from administration

The kids in the district are great, and parents take an active role in developing their children which helps in the school setting. However when problems arose there is no help from administration within the school or district.

3 stars

What is the best part of working at the company?I made some good friends. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?More and more work piled on, with less support from admin. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?A lot of gossip. Favoritism shown to a select few employees. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Meetings, rushing to class, unpacking the class supplies that I bought myself.

Culture

Fantastic environment . Like a huge family all working together for the greater good. Not as diverse as one would hope for but it’s getting there. All departments seem pretty nice as well

Stressful overworked and low wages

Poor management, great co workers always willing to help! Managers are indifferent and all about the numbers. Poor pay, only once a month and the medical is expensive!

Administration doesn’t care about kids or teachers

The district states they are kid centered but they are not. Teachers who advocate for their kids are never supported by admin and shot down. The district leadership at the school level parrots the superintendent for teachers taking care of themselves and then when mental health days are taken, administrators make comments and send emails to the teachers about being out and not being there for the students. The whole culture is toxic and very nepotistic. Some department heads hire all their family members, play favorites and create resentment and low morale. Most people are just there for a paycheck at this point because their souls have been sucked out trying to provide for their students and getting abused by the administrators, parents and students. This district destroys any sense of pride in the public education system and needs to change drastically to keep up with new education needs and actually supporting their staff to make positive changes.

Pros

Pay and teammates

Cons

Admin, parents, the facade of caring for anything except politics/money/abusing the taxpayers dollars

nothing

zero leadership, less than zero communication, the only thing management cared about was their own paycheck. if you want to be treated like a rented mule this is the place for you

Pros

you can come to work and do almost nothing for weeks and get away with it

Site-Based

While CCSD is fairly uniform in its school offerings and adherence to board policy, experiences for teachers vary greatly from site to site largely based on resources of the immediate community.

Middle of the road place to work

Support at the school has dropped over the years. Poor compensation for a difficult, strenuous and difficult job. Lonely place to work unless you are “in the club” and in with the right people. Great supports for kids with loving adults. Teachers do an amazing job to be inclusive of all, make work fun.

Good place

I worked middle school, I enjoyed my job and the teachers were great. They were always flexible and treated everyone wellat the school I worked. The team I worked with got along well and communication was great.

Terrible HR!

Horrible HR! If you have a question and need to call, the answer will depend on who you talk to! Got different answers for the same question from different people! Awful hiring process! The job itself was ok and school schedule was good!

Supportive Work Environment

Cherry Creek was a great company to work for! They were supportive and collaborative. The only negative was my commute, which is why I ended up leaving.

Great people but pay is low

The people I worked with was great and supportive but the pay is low and with very low to zero chances for advancement. Health insurance premium is high

Great people to work with at times

overall satisfying, but needs help in management support and better compensation. split shifts most of the time which can be helpful if you like that.

Overworked and underpaid is the understatement of the year

The school I worked at was great, but the district as a whole is a nightmare. Avoid it like the plague. Terrible pay, staff are severely overworked, and district executives and decision makers are ineffective and frequently sweep things under the rug. I worked two jobs simultaneously for an entire year because they refused to increase wages or do anything else to incentivize hiring. No increase in pay for doing the work of multiple people. RUN.

Pros

School level administrators and staff were great to work with

Cons

Terrible pay, insufficient and ineffective training, staff are constantly overworked

Great people, pay not good

Work life balance good. Coworkers great! Job pays less than market value. There has to be a way that people are valued for their work in other areas than teachers who get all kinds of extra pay, but others in support positions do not get the same benefits.

Poor management

Very unorganized as a school district in general. No communication from management and no opportunities for feedback from your school principal. No real room for growth within the district.
