I enjoyed my tenure with Chesapeake Hospitality. There was an overwhelming amount of tension and discourse between the management company and the owner. This was also a conversion property which had a very difficult renovation. We did several million dollars of revenue in student tours. The owner did not want this type of business and filled in - more ... the indoor pool. There was a lot of turnover in sales prior to my coming on board and it was difficult to hire anyone from the area with the experience we needed to handle the conversion and lead the team. We were not able to achieve the budget. - less
