Nice facility
cna (Former Employee) - Houston, TX - November 2, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by Indeedok work place, work load not too hard, facility is nice, coworkers are awesome but the management sucks. If they could keep a steady management team and work on one accord it would be a great place to work.

Mentally and physically taxing
Emergency Room Technician (Former Employee) - Hot Springs, AR - November 26, 2023
Typically 12 hour shifts unless you are in overtime and in that case you are sent home immediately. The one thing I learned was that unless you are willing to brown nose your way up, there was no promotion. Also, unless you are an RN, your voice was not heard. Management has their favorites and if you weren’t in that group, you were stepped on. The workplace is definitely not team oriented and it shows daily.

Great benefits but administration only cares about money and the doctors
Medical Professional (Current Employee) - Chattanooga, TN - October 3, 2023
The hospital offers wonderful benefits. Pay is below average. Administration is lacking in ability and quality. They constantly push productivity on a skeleton crew.

Could be great..
Nurse (Former Employee) - Lincoln, NE - September 27, 2023
Good team approach. Hospital politics make the job harder than it needs to be. Managers care about employees but corporate makes it hard for them to advocate for their employees.

learned alot
Rehabilitation Specialist (Former Employee) - Chattanooga, TN - September 27, 2023
Learned a lot working here but unfortunately management was not great while I was there. Favoritism is rampant in the department. Some staff easily get away with poor productivity and dumping there work onto others. Others work hard but continue to be piled on due to having better work ethic.

Christian environment, hard working individuals who were eager to please, and considerate of all those at the hospital.
Cook (Former Employee) - Roseburg, OR - August 21, 2023
Each day was slightly different. I loved the variety of the work. It was always challenging but luckily I had coworkers who were willing to take a small portion of my load when needed. The management were involved in all the details of the work. Making sure that we felt confident in the job and that we were doing it correctly. The hardest thing about the job is that if you did not do the work in the correct order then you did not get everything done in time. Also, there were times you needed to be quicker depending on what time you worked. My time varied on when I came to work which did mess with my sleep pattern a little. However, it was always satisfying when the day ended and you realized that all of these people were eating the food you prepared and enjoyed it.
Pros
loving coworkers, satisfaction of accomplishing another hard day, and good food.
Cons
Everyday was stressful and I was paid through a temp agency so I did more than I was paid for.

Good people but not magnet-quality workplace
RN Staff Nurse (Former Employee) - College Station, TX - August 14, 2023
Great coworkers, but be prepared: Med Surg/tele unit is combined; poor tech coverage — unit relies heavily on clinical on students for pt baths, vitals, etc;; techs pulled to sit in ER most shifts, so no techs on floor and basic tech care falls to RNs; Charge nurses also expected to pick up tech slack

no systematic working system
RN (Current Employee) - The Woodlands, TX - August 10, 2023
poor delivery of services and management does not listen to workers. staffs who used to lazy are the ones who can withstand the system and stay. compensation is somehow a bit higher to other nearby hospitals but thats the pros and can mention.

Fair pay overworked, good benefits some occasional drama needs improvement
Certified Medical Assistant (Former Employee) - College Station, TX - August 9, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Benefits. Some good co-workers. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Too much work not enough pay. Having to pick up after others work without management getting on to them or writing them up. By looks of it it’s staying that way. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? 75 %time fast paced can be stressful. Nothing difficult if you have the experience it’s just picking up after people culture seems OK just a couple of toxic people. And the less I rate it at 3.5 stars. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Normal demand, busy. Do you have to know how to time your work between other duties in order to get rest between time and or use some of your downtime to catch up so that you’re not stressed out completely out of your mind. Some days we have low census days where we can catch up and have a nice day at work but the downside about that is they cut us off from our shift early or ask us if we want to go home or tell not to come in on a nice day, therefore affecting our paycheck

Your day strongly be lends on who you work with.
Patient Care Technician (Former Employee) - Chattanooga, TN - August 2, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Plenty of opportunity for overtime What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Scheduling conflicts. Will have you work the weekend before a holiday. Work the holiday. Then work the weekend after the holiday. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Not team oriented. Afraid to terminate people. So Good nurses and techs leave on their own. Leaving only the bad. What is a typical day like for you at the company? You have a routine to try to keep up with which isn’t hard until you’re understaffed. Which happens frequently.

Terrible Management

Good facility, with adequate and usable, but a little antiquated equipment and treatment machines. Somewhat terrible administration and management from the top on down. Lacks leadership with a vision.
