Reviews for Teacher in Chicago Public Schools

Good work place

It all depends on what school you are at. Schools tend to be better on the North side of the city. They have better resources up north. Great pay, decent benefits.

eh

sometimes rewarding but too many politics involved with teacher placement, retention, and benefits. Need to be paid through the full year and not just working months

High first year salary

High salary for a first year teacher. District pays most than schools in surrounding districts, especially in the more suburban areas. Pretty good benefits too
