It depends on which Chick-fil-A you'll be working at and how you filled out your application. I did mine on indeed and it took them about 3 days to call me. Over the phone they asked me several questions about availability and if I could come in for an interview in the next 3 days. When I finally went I was interviewed by 2 assistant managers and they liked me very much. They told me that all that was left to do was call my references and have my second interview with the manager. I had my second interview the very next day and at the end of it he told me I was hired and would start work a week from that day. They ask for your clothes and shoes size and they told me to fill out the packet they would email me with all of the information they needed such as bank account for direct deposit and such.

Only management or "office type" positions like trainers, HR staff, etc are eligible for benefits. You can pay for your own health insurance if qualified and if working enough hours but they don't contribute.

If there are 'open interviews', show up ON TIME! If a card says it will start at 9:30am, it will actually start at 9:30am.

'Open interviews' are usually light, short GROUP interviews. If you are wanting to walk in just AFTER the start time, be prepared for the manager or assistant manager leading the group interview to ask you to attend the next open interview, which is probably being held in the next few days. The manager holding the interview today turned away a person that arrived at 9:35am, and asked that person to attend the next one in a few days, since the current open interview was already underway.

This 'open interview' started with us each writing down our name, date, and contact info on little sheets of paper.

Then, the manager let us know that some of the group members would get a call back for a second interview. That interview would be more one-on-one, in style. If we get a call back, it'd be in 3-5 business days and if we do not get a call back, we should know that CFA can not possibly hire everyone and that everyone's application will be kept on file with CFA.

The whole 'open interview' was less than 30 min. I'm guessing when more or less people show up to that open interview, they adjust the activities accordingly to keep the open interview to 30 min or less.
