There is not really a time frame to get used to things. People get used to things in minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years even. I'm not saying to take your time, just try to learn things at a quicker pace than your usual pace. Every person is different so I don't know what pace you have at learning but don't keep people waiting :)
It will take a few weeks at most
It really won't take too long. It usually takes a few shifts until you can get the hang of things, and don't worry about asking too much.
Well, it should take a week... depending on if they train you the way they should. Other Chick-Fil-A's probably train better than mine so I apologize if I'm giving you inaccurate information.
In order to get the hang of things in the workplace is different for everyone. Online training helped but only but so far. The most effective learning method is working in the kitchen, front of the counter, and with customers to understand how to handle certain situations and how to make a person's order. It takes a few weeks to get the hang of things. I did not need any help during the third week but certain unique situations will occur where you will need assistance. If you need help, refer to your online training and ask the team leaders or runners for help. If you do not know the answer to a question, make sure the customer knows you will be asking someone to help them with the situation. You will learn as you go and remember to pay attention because things can get hecked. Sometimes customers will even help you if you are flustered or confused.
Help job seekers learn about the company by being objective and to the point.
