Is there a difference between a shift lead and a team lead?

4 answers

  • I don't think so.

  • A shift lead makes sure that all employees that show up for their shift have a job and a purpose and that they stick to it. A team lead is there to maintain order, count money, and deal with any issues that a customer might have.

  • Not really

  • A shift lead was someone who would tell people when to take breaks and would move people around to suit them best.

Whereas, a team lead was someone who may or may not have been a shift lead but an excellent leader and someone who worked well with everyone, met everyones needs, was helpful in all aspects of the job and helped pick up the weight and push people to success.
