Children’s Health has served the children of North Texas since 1913. Today, our system includes two full-service hospitals, multiple specialty centers, and a long-term care and rehabilitation facility.


We are licensed for 490 beds at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, 72 beds at Children’s Medical Center Plan and 54 beds at Our Children's House in Dallas. Together, we receive nearly 800,000 patient visits annually, from all 50 states and around the world.

• The largest pediatric heart center in North Texas and dedicated pediatric cardiac ICU

• 71 dedicated pediatric intensive care unit beds

• 22 state-of-the-art pediatric operating rooms

Worked there for a long time. Enjoyed it for the most part, management and politics were sometimes a problem which is pretty much any hospital organization.
