I’ve worked for CHA for 7 years now, started out as direct care and moved up into my current managerial role. Is the place perfect? No, no job is. Is it worth it? Most days, yes. It’s easy to get stressed out in this field of work, easy to place blame and be negative. At the end of the day though, the kids are what matter and they are what keep me going. Even on the hardest days, the kids can make it all worth it. This job is fast paced, stressful at times and frustrating. It’s also the most rewarding career I could have chosen and I don’t regret choosing CHA to pursue that career at. If you’re here for the right reasons you will do great.
