This place is always looking for people to hire for a reason. The pay is really low for everything that you do and are expected to do on a daily basis. Management is hard to get along with because they don’t all treat the playguides very well and we are kind of looked down upon. They will not allow you to work more than 39 hours a week because then it would be a full-time job and they would be required to give you benefits , which they don’t. Although if you are looking to go into a child specialist type of career then this is a great stepping stone. They do have really good programs for special needs kid’s and family’s with children who require special attention. Even support groups for the families as well.

I love the environment and how CMT is a mission driven organization. The organization is growing each year and is focused on creating a child centered community, as well as providing inclusive environments that allow children and their adults with opportunities to play and discover.
The work I did was all from home or events at a different site, work was pretty easy that ended up giving me more free time than I Imagined and ended up with a few days off ahead of time.
I worked part time as a cooperative preschool teachers. I learned a great deal about children's museum strategies and development. I really enjoyed my job but wasn't able to obtain full time work.
