Dysfunctional
Treasury Analyst (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAAugust 12, 2018
The company lacks direction with the parent bank, CTBC Taiwan, involved with day-to-day affairs, that only cause additional confusion.

If you are seeking employment, avoid the Finance department at all cost, specifically Treasury. The CFO from 2016-2018 is extremely difficult to work for. Meeting them during them interview might seem like they will provide a professional working environment, but it will be a completely 180 situation when work starts. The CFO lacks ethics and it trickles down to the Treasury department.
Pros
People (non-management), Institutional Banking Group is excellent to work with, Caring HR but lacks influence
Cons
Lacks upward mobility, Poor Compensation, Promises made during interview and not delivered, Demeaning managers in the Treasury Department and CFO Office, Fabricated reasons to suppress compensation, Not a meritocracy, Does not recognize talent

We recommend that you have 2 exams before you start your entry-level search (1 exam is fine for applying for internships). The ideal candidate for employers of entry-level candidates will have at least 2 exams, some internship experience, and strong computer skills including Excel and Access. VBA and SQL and / or SAS are highly desirable.

The company tried to build high-performance teams by emphasizing trust and values in his team. It believed that everyone should have each other’s back and not judging one another. High Risk Rated

Chinatrust is identified as a high risk institution by the regulatory authorities. An ever changing political climate has seen a degradation in key areas that provide for challenges as an officer.
