The most useful review selected by IndeedA typical day includes meeting with co-workers, participants and community members. I have learned that putting our participants first pays off well and is extremely rewarding. eThe management is continually working to improve communication and recognize staff for their outstanding work and efforts. The workplace culture is one of professionalism and forward thinking. All ideas are welcome and appreciated. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the issues relating to COVID and not seeing co-workers and participants in person. But we do a lot of remote support services, which helps greatly. The most enjoyable part of the job is spending time with the wonderful participants of CHOICE and helping them improve the quality of their lives.
Pros
Recognition and a management team who truly appreciate our efforts as employees.
Cons
Some limits placed upon our organization from governmental agencies.

Great culture-professional coworkers focused on serving clientele

I enjoy nearly every day at CHOICE. Occasionally there will be tough days when people are a bit challenging. Lots of variety from supporting people at work, providing instruction in the SHAPE fitness center, to getting people out and about in the community. The people we serve are great and CHOICE hires good people. I love my coworkers.
