In Columbus, Ohio, it is unclear if there is a future unless big changes are made. You cannot start a company without the director onsite. Hire a therapist to get it done.

In Columbus, Ohio, their fate is unclear. They have not been credentialed yet, nor do they have any real clients. The current posting for Outpatient Therapist is total lies, because the job is always out in the community, not an office. Unless they have raised the hourly salary by $20 in the last few months, that is also incorrect. The director is an administrator, not a therapist, so she really has no idea when clients are referred from PALS if they are even appropriate for counseling. Answers to questions can change from day to day, e.g. first you are told it's a flexible schedule, then you are told you must be in the office from 10-12 with nothing to do because there are no clients. Training should be much longer, because everything is crammed in 4 days. When the instructor would finish a section, she would ask, "Clear as mud?" and I would shake my head as seriously as I could to let her know I really didn't understand, but she would move on to the next section.
You are paid $400 for the first 4 weeks which includes the training week after which time you are expected to be out in the community seeing clients. But if the company isn't credentialed, then what do you do? You better have a real job or you will not be making any money. The director will tell you that the 2 people she has hired haven't worked out, but the reason is because she doesn't know what she's doing.
Unless you can be extremely dominating and tell her to let you find the clients, this place will never be credentialed. She has her way of wanting or being told by upper management to do things, nut what works in Florida doesn't necessarily work in Columbus,Ohio.
