fun workplace
It is a good first job. You learn a lot about hospitality and having to work in a team. Your co-workers make the place a better place.

CEC was an okay place to work. every day i went into work, there would be a new rule or something new i’d have to do, it was always changing and management wouldn’t tell you it was changing so you’d get chewed out. i was hired as a party host but was quickly taught and tasked with literally everything else. there’s a lot of responsibilities that came later on, on the job. management never scheduled enough people for the night so more often than not, i felt like i had to run the whole thing by myself and it was just a lot of work for me as i was a minor at the time. the people i worked with were nice as they were around my age but i felt like i was spoken down to just because i was 17. after quitting i found that the managers would talk about me behind my back and would complain about things i did rather than speak to me about them. had they spoke to me about them, i would have corrected my actions and fixed the situation. on busy days, i’d have to skip my breaks and cut my lunches early because there would be nobody to watch my party for 15-30 minutes or nobody who could take over cashier. very disorganized and stressful.

It was fine I just hated the kids and messes I guess if you like to clean and like children and that type of environment you’d like it but it was not for me
