Concession Stand Supervisor/Maintenance in Centreville, VA
on February 4, 2018
I have been working at the cinemas 28 years and going seen a lot changes in that time. It is fun at times and hard at the same time. There are issues that need to be addressed but overall it has its moments.

I loved my managers at Cinemark and the staff. Everyone was so nice and friendly. And it’s a super easy job as well and can be busy at times in the weekends but that’s it.
Usher/Concessions in San Antonio, TX
on June 24, 2022
As an usher you mostly did basic janitorial duties and had a set schedule for when you had to clean theaters. I personally enjoyed it but it can be boring if you want busy work. If that's the case then concession is more your forte.
Barista/Cashier/Food Service in Deer Park, IL

Pretty ok job, with a good work environment. Working during large movie releases such as the Avengers: Endgame release will push you to your limits, though it was manageable due to good relations with management and coworkers.
Usher/Ticket Taker/concession in Alabama

Just awful. The management team is absolutely rude as lawdy. The special treatment of certain employees over others is terribly unfair. Unreasonable hours till 2 to 3 AM ,leaving at the crack of dawn. Managers being lazy when they should be helping close. harassment is a given in this environment, from guests and management alike.

Favorite movie & why lots of questions on experiences - like: "tell me about times that you made a customer happy" "tell me about a disagreement that happened in the work place, both sides, and how did that disagreement get fixed" " a time that there was a miscommunication that you didn't know was a miscommunication till later and how did you fix that" " tell me about a time at work that there was a situation ( like an emergency) and what steps did you take to fix that" - so lots of situational and past experience based things. some like: why cinemark what past experiences make you prepared/ makes you a good fit for this job what makes a good manager/ supervisor when are times to work in a team vs independently what makes a good workplace- ( usually relate to past experiences as well) and then at end of interview was cash handling, they look for good math but also you counting it back to the customer in the way they want ( like adding it up to their original dollar amount)
