What is the interview process like at Cisco Systems?

22 answers

  • My initial entry to Cisco was being interviewed by experienced associates that I ended up working with. After that, I usually met with a manager and one associate.

  • Simple and orderly

  • Tough, lengthy and at least five interviews remote and face to face.

  • Several phone screenings, phone interviews with key stakeholders, in-person interviews if deemed a good candidate.

  • Very fast and to the point with the job description. Review it carefully.

  • Lengthy. at least through 10 times/ levels

  • There were many rounds and quite long process.

  • I have many interviews for different position while at Cisco. For Technical roles (if you don't know that answer to question - just say that... )

  • Varies by team. There is little consistency, even though there are clear guidelines. Expect no fewer then 4-6 interviews, mostly over Webex.

  • 3 Stage interview process usually, all done over video call or over the phone.
