I was applying for a contract position and had a screening call with a tech specialist. It was going OK but not great. After 15 minutes the hiring manager joined the call and gave me a 5 minute overview of the position. It was a very good fit and I asked 3 questions of the manager and we discussed the role. It ended up with the question of when can you start? I said Monday but the background and drug test took 2 more weeks.

Citi is always about the bottom line and not quality. If you anytime feel your position can be outsourced or automated, they will do it. The company has no morales and is just like every big Bank. In addition, there is a lack of career mobility. Citi is a place to start your career but not where you can end it (i.e retire).
