Cirtix has a great work life balance. While there isn't real "fun" at the office, the ability to work from home nearly everyday and travel to the office as needed was a huge plus for me.

Fantastic Experience

Great people to work alongside, interesting work, good work life balance, nice offices. I worked on the SAP conversion and was able to learn a great deal during this time. I still maintain contact with many of the people that I worked with at that time.

What is the best part of working at the company?The atmosphere at Citrix is electric. Everyone I worked with was friendly, helpful and glad to be at Citrix.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Citrix has many departments and often times I needed to cross-train in a short amount of time.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Citrix culture is very friendly, united and knowledgeable. The company is great about having special events for the employees. Organizations from different ethnicities and cultures exist within the company and it was wonderful to learn about them.

Used to be great

Formerly a great place to work, but is an entirely different company since the takeover. Pat and benefits are much lower and morale is now very low.

It was a great company; not anymore

It was a great company and culture until it was sold. The people were great. Culture is completely different. Many people leave due to instability, and lack of direction.

Hardworking team members make a difference. Pay is competitive, benefits are above-average, and leadership is clear with communication. WFH could be more supported.

Right job for the right persons

Must be interested in technology to be in this job. Very competitive and you deal with a lot of rejection. Things started to change when new ceo came aboard. Would be interesting to see how they are doing financially.

Decent benefits - poor management

Upward movement is not based on merit and obviously based on how well you can suck up to upper management. This means there little to no accountability for management to actually manage effectively and leaves ICs stagnant and feeling defeated. Toxic behavior is often allowed and favoritism runs rampant.

Great team! Everyone is friendly, a lot of learning and good team work. Great job to see expand your goals. Good benefits and flexible hours. I would recommend this work space!

Long Hours

The hours are long, especially during month end. You'll do the work of at least two people. You'll learn a lot, though, and be surrounded by intelligent people.

culture change

Was a really fun place to work before it went totally corporate. Then went private and hasn't regained the passion from years past. Can be stressful with amount of cold calling you have to do, but overall a nice stepping stone job.

Poor structure and no motivation

Marketing has since been made obsolete but it was a poor structure, constantly shifting strategic priorities, no KPIs or clear guidance from senior staff

No consistent leadership direction

A compete lack of caring about employees with stress levels deliberately advanced to get people to leave. Lack of Sales support and lack of client support and they don't care.

Wonderful culture and focus on quality delivery. Focus on acquisition and restructuring causes some chaos and confusion but overall a great place to learn and grow.

At least they are consitant ... poor management at all levels

The review asks for the good and the bad of working at Citrix. It was a great company with dedicated employes who were proud to be associated with the name. Sadly, the good is long gone by more than a decade, leaving only the bad and the ugly. Citrix were leaders in their field, but through a series of mis turns, they lost their way. Many of the best and brightest employees have moved on, leaving a talent void. Did I mention, workplace moral is poor!

Historically Good Experience

Good products, hitting your quota was attainable if you put in the effort. Experience has been very positive. Restructuring is over and we'll see if anything changes.
