Worked as an aide for the Public Works division. Responsibilities was relaxed but there was never enough things to do to fill in the time. I ended up leaving as I saw no potential growth within the part time position.

Great place to be, good environment, and comminuty focused.

Aside from issues with a negative co-worker, everything about working for Chino was great. The City Hall is centered on what is best for the community, has high accountability, responsibility, and transparency. Do the best job you can do.

Go beyond expectations to be noticed by upper management. This is not a job for someone lazy. Good leaders are needed in the community. If you are not willing to put in effort and passion, do not bother applying. People that lack that make it harder for good employees to work, especially here.

Great work environment

Love the job, people, and getting to advance in my career goals in working with children. As a psychology major, receiving a job with the city is great and especially being able to provide care to kids in after school programs or care for kids under 5 has been wonderful.
