Depends on the department you work in. At city hall hours can be somewhat flexible to accommodate family life but still generally an 8-4 schedule. Sometimes you may need to attend evening meetings but usually if you do you can come in late or leave early on another day to offset (even if you are salaried)
Hours were good. Winter was long due to winter events and moving to 12 hour days. It was good though.
