Management is poor. There is no appreciation for work experience.
Work involved many layer of management all redoing work which was correct at the beginning.

Has gpne downhill considerably since managed competition

It used to be a great place tp work, but no longer. Managed comp changed the dynamics comprehensively. The pay has not evolved to meet inflation expectations.

This is a good job, it pays the bills. This job presented me with the opportunity to purchase my home. It has a pension plan an a 401k. I started the job at an entree level. I started out as a sanitationdriver trainee then within 6 months I was a Sanitation Driver I. In two years time was a Sanitation Driver II.

Working for the city was nice, but if you have a family the wages are too low and the cost of living in San Diego is to high. I would have stayed if I would have been paid more.
