Client Service Worker in Midtown
on November 21, 2021
I'm working as a Client Service Worker at a City-operated shelter. Work environment is challenging but it is a rewarding job if you have empathy and tolerance. Pay is good, but you should be available for shift work including overtime shift.

Good place to work if they got rid of the politics. Some of the bosses like the lady one I had don’t care about all of their employees. They only care about whoever would take care of their personal interests which creates tension. Certain employees can go and come as they please but when others try, they are disciplined

Pays well, lots of opportunities, generally good team. Usual office politics, exists but nothing out of the ordinary. If you are liked, more opportunities, if not, seek out your own opportunities. Opportunities exist.

Good part time job with management that understands you need to balance school and work. Pretty good pay for the work, work is not too difficult and a lot of great people.
Lifeguard/Swim Instructor in Toronto
on April 1, 2021
I worked as a lifeguard and realized for the amount of expensive certificates I needed to accomplish getting paid minimum wage is not worth it. The good thing is they have flexible hours, for senior member only.
