Political, Toxic, and full of blame
Management (Former Employee) – Philadelphia, PA – November 29, 2018
Prepare to work very hard and achieve very little. You will not be reimbursed for office supplies, so bring a stapler and whiteboard markers, pens, etc. with you. Your manager is a politician and looks only UP and never across or down - you will be ignored, blamed, and bereted for everything you do. Your boss's manager has no clue what the department does because he's been appointed as a friend of a friend, a political appointment. Errors are rampant, and nobody works on quality control - just fire the manager and bring in another victim. This is the worst place to work in the US. Don't do it. The company is separating from Thomson Reuters and everything is about cost savings, so you have no job security, no tools, and really terrible patchy systems everywhere. No investments are being made at all. Prediction: this mess will be sold by its equity company sometime in 2019.
You can work from home, but they really frown on it in reality
Zero job security, supplies, transparency, or even a minute of cheerfulness.
