Enviromental Technician

Been with this company on an off for 25yrs. as a Hydroblaster, Training people how to Hydroblast and operate and set up automation equipment. I've loved to teach give my knowledge to help people to make a living for there families and go home safe every day. But working on the Environment side of Clean Harbors business as a Enviromental Technician 3 there were no respect, a hand full of employees talking against one another with no respect emailing each other talking bad about another employee behind there back. Supervisor will Backstab you every chance they get if you know more than them. GM doesn't know nothing only been in position for 1yr 6mths doesn't know how to be a GM. And hired a Car Salesman as a Project Manager doesn't know anything about Enviromental side of business. The Branch in Bridgeport New Jersey is a Terrible place to work at period they will find a way to use you then leave you only have you looking for another job to support your family.

Cincinnati location is a horrible workplace.

Worst culture of people. Terrible management. No appreciation for hard work. Preferential treatment for the in club. High toxic workplace! Very unsafe workplace! Overload roll off boxes every week causing damaged equipment. Employees treated like dirt. I worked there over 9 years & I’ve seen it all there. Take advice from someone who’s lived it there, stay far away from Cincinnati CleanHarbors.

Toxic work environment. Underpaid for handling hazardous waste. Coworkers are underpaid. Few transferable skills. Work scares me sometimes because the customer does not reveal what chemicals are to be collected or they improperly label things. Work also scares me because fellow employees are often careless or have no educational backgroud/critical thinking skills. CH has no business expanding their company.
