A good place to work but not remunerative
Written by Adjunct Professor of History (Current Employee) from Cleveland, OH on May 17, 2018
They leave adjuncts alone but do not pay very well. Classes for adjuncts are often large but it is relaxed and interesting work. There is no peer review unless Professor requests it and there is little reason to have one unless a professor wants to use it to find a full time job.
ProsRelaxed interesting working environment with great student diversity
Conslow pay, no benefits for adjuncts
