There were a few decent facilities to work
LPN (Current Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - September 20, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThis company had numerous shift offerings on the map of facilities in my area. Now either I’m being penalized because I work FT and only pic up shift occasionally or facilities I’d worked at repeatedly over time successfully suddenly decide to DNR you because I didn’t complete admissions when there is no training nor time as a float into their facility or asked to perform a task I don’t feel is proper care. There is no backup or anyone I can contact on phone to speak to. Now that I have another job working FT I also see there are no shift offerings on the map. Also, there system of uploaded credentials documents, even clipboards own forms are repeatedly rejected. I work for the federal government at present and my documents have been rejected numerous times when uploaded through the app. There is no speaking person to call only chats with office staff. Through chats they state these issues are reconciled the app still states there are rejected documents. For a while the shifts were numerous enough to get me through a time of underemployment till my new FT job came through but now, SHOULD I TAKE THE HINT IF ANY AND DEACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT I ask myself. Or is there really no longer work in the Phoenix area? While it lasted the daily pay was nice.
Pros
Daily pay
Cons
Unable to have a conversation with office staff

Good shift availability
LVN (Current Employee) - San Diego, CA - September 11, 2023
Good availability for LVN shifts, book and confirm right away. Easy communication with facilities. I like that facilities can rate you (out of 5 stars) and you will see their available shifts up to 6hrs before anyone else.

Perfect if you want to overwork
DevOps Engineer (Current Employee) - Remote - September 7, 2023
Since management changed, they laid off half the team and couldn't rehire because the bar was set too high. They can't attract the candidates they want because salary isn't competitive. There's people perpetually on-call, working more than 12 hours per day, and no deliveries since the team has to maintain and do support.

Can't reach anyone on phone or email at all
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) (Current Employee) - Danbury, CT - September 7, 2023
Been with CBH a little over two years and took a lot of shifts because it's easy to book shifts thru app but forget about getting in touch with someone if you have a question about shift or instant pay didn't work right. Used to be you could email and get a response (no phone number works, just rings) but now you gotta fill out a form and you have no idea if they got the issue or are working on it, it's frustrating and scary that you might not get the pay you worked for. Just got a bill for my taxes (they don't take out) and now i gotta pay that, don't know how, didn't think so much would be owed in taxes when i started. I like picking shifts when I want but more people now on app and hard to find shifts for a steady schedule, it's more for filling in now and then. Wish there was someone who would answer the phone or an email.
Pros
make your own schedule
Cons
not enough shifts close by -have to drive over hour-maybe two hours for shifts

Productive
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Current Employee) - Fresno, CA - September 2, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Best part of this company are the rates and the method of payment. Its nice to have the choice of getting paid at the end of the shift What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The most stressful part is not having many abilities in the central valley. Many of the shifts require significant traveling and unfortunately milage and boarding are not available. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? For the most part the work environment is the same across the board. If you have worked in skilled nursing, then nonmatter where you go it'll be a familiar experience. What is a typical day like for you at the company? A typical day depending on where I am working is very fast pace. Typically we have a 15-16 patients and most need full care.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) (Current Employee) - Louisville, KY - September 2, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Getting paid when your shift is over. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Having to drive over 50 miles to work. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Its agency so I don't see any co workers. What is a typical day like for you at the company? I go to different places to work and meet different people all the time.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) (Current Employee) - Canton, GA - September 2, 2023

Get to work where and when you want
Certified Nursing Assistant (Current Employee) - Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN - September 2, 2023
I loved working for this company because of the flexibility it gives you to create your own schedule, but their are many downsides as well. For starters, they don’t have you back when it comes to DNR. They say we’re self employed, but we get suspended when canceling shifts. They don’t approve doctors notes unless you tell them you’re going to reach out to legal aides. There’s barely any shifts anymore, unless you go way far out.
Pros
Same day pay
Cons
Pay, owe taxes at the end of the year, shifts really far.

Lacks compassion as a company, but is good if you want to get paid instantly.
Independent Contractor (Current Employee) - Las Vegas, NV - August 30, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? They say you don't worry work for the company, but treat you like a employee. The freedom of self scheduling. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? They have a ridiculous attendance point system, so don't get sick! You suppose to be a independent contractor on a nursing app, and you're not able to use them as a reference. Constant cancelation from the facilities. They use AI for contact, so good luck talking to a human! No human compassion to their independent contractor nurses. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It's a independent contractor app. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Don't get sick or have a life emergency!

Great
CNA/CHHA - Certified Nursing Assistant/ Home Health Aide (Current Employee) - Torrance, CA - August 30, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Being able to make my own schedule What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Nothing really, but if I have to say something. I'd say the unknown when you go to a new facility. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? You create your own culture, with your own schedule What is a typical day like for you at the company? Go to location. Introduce myself, learn what clients needs. Proforma my duties the best of my abilities

Great
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) - Belleville, IL - August 29, 2023
Fast money easy site to work. 2-3 day pay It’s hard to find shifts in advance. so have a back up plan in place you will run into some very short staffed facilities. Some of the facilities are great

Worst company culture I have experience in 20+ years in customer support
I worked as a customer support team lead for over a year and a half. The company culture is by far the most toxic I have experienced and I have been working in customer support for nearly 20 years. The turnaround of staff is ridiculous, I had 7 managers quit or get fired in a short time span and my team was constantly fired or quit. This place is not for a career, it is more for remote work and expects to experience being part of the Hunger Games since very few make it past 6 months and those that do not get fired after 6 months quit themselves shortly after.
Pros
none realy except it is remore
Cons
Everything about this place is negative, if you get in there you will notice after 3 days in the company.

Payment
Nurse (Current Employee) - Travel - August 28, 2023
It is impossible to reach someone by phone and speaking with agents in other countries is not helpful due to language barriers. I was paid for a shift through instant pay and then a few days later the pay was taken back. I have been going back and forth with this company over my payment which I have yet to receive and again there is nobody to speak with in regards to this discrepancy and it’s HIGHLY frustrating!
Pros
Instant pay
Cons
Customer service

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Current Employee) - Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN - August 28, 2023
I like that you can work when you want, and choose the location you choose go work at. They don’t have your back when it comes to unfairly DNR by facilities.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The app trips out sometimes and the overall system needs to be tweaked What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Laid back depending on what building you are assigned to What is a typical day like for you at the company? Typical run of the meal step by step CNA duties and job
