This is the safest place I have ever worked. While there is room to move up in the company, the wages are stagnant. It would take an assistant 10+ years to hit top out pay here and an operator a little less. Its a great place to learn the printing trade with a lot of experience on hand to guide you in the right direction if printing is the career choice for you.
The schedule is great, 2 on 2 off and every other weekend, all the OT you could want
I was given a lot of freedom to make my own decisions. Management was nurturing and provided clear expectations. Could sometimes micro manage. Many job tools provided to help you be successful. Was hard to keep up with the various "E" tools that the company provided. Company is over-matched when it comes to IT resolution
Company car, decent health benefits, good 401K plan
High health insurance premiums, too much travel in sales role
Assembler II (Former Employee) – Troy, OH – October 4, 2017
Great place to learn something new in the manufacturing industry. Employees are alright an some are helpful an willing to train you an show you what you need to do! VERY POOR MANAGEMENT!! Some have never stepped foot on a line or even worked in a factory an over see manufacturing departments with no manufacturing knowledge. If you want proper training stick with a veteran associate that actually works on the production floor!
Poor management, lack of training, hot environments, lack of process knowledge for management
Assembler (Former Employee) – Troy, OH – August 25, 2017
Fast paced, Learned how to use power tools, the hardest part about the job was trying to keep up with the line. the easiest part was cleaning up making sure everything was stocked up. The most enjoyable was working around nice employees.
