Fast Paced
Stock Associate (Current Employee) –  Boston, MAMay 28, 2018
Fast-paced, Stock associates weren't respected or taken care of. The stock Manager was a great person and worked to the bone. In this workplace there were favorites and it isn't right. Then there were rumors going around about each other (all the favorites). This workplace was too much drama and not enough teamwork. The managers on the floor did their job pushing the stylists to make their goals to a point where it got sarcastic, and not friendly. That part wasn't good.

I was a member of the management team when Club Monaco privately owned by a Canadian family. Small company who cared about their sales teams. Great atmosphere and exciting company.

Operations Supervisor (Former Employee) –  New York, NYApril 30, 2018
The most unpleasant place to work at. In the retail environment, the management was rude and unprofessional on every level, unorganized and constantly late with every possible task.

Women's Stylist (Former Employee) –  New York, NYFebruary 11, 2018
There were daily chat in's that updated each stylist on the store revenue and goals to be reached. The workplace culture was artistic and upbeat, and I learned a tremendous amount about fashion, sales, and superior customer service.

Don't Have Too Many Bills
Stylist/Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAFebruary 5, 2018
This is a place for a college student who just needs extra money. You will get caught up in the hype during the holidays because you will get a lot of hours but as soon as the holidays are over, you'd be lucky enough to get two days.
Pros
Co-Workers
Cons
Lack of communication, poor management

The pay is really low comparing to some of the competitors. The merchandises and employee discounts were satisfactory. But the working environment is pretty competitive

Visual and Sales Support (Current Employee) –  Beverly Hills, CA 90210January 18, 2018
Club Monaco is a pleasant place to work if you are a stylist or manager. Work is easy and light. Unfortunately it lacks challenge, competitiveness and career advancement opportunities.

A Mess
Merchandiser (Former Employee) –  New York, NYNovember 28, 2017
No leadership, although titles are inflated and thrown about like candy.

Promotions are arbitrary based on looks and personal relationship with those with power. Experience and knowledge comes second to physical image and "talking the talk."

Multiple organizational restructures in a matter of months. Upper management that have been hired within the past few years have all left.

Lack of communication. Jaded brand identity.
Pros
Employee Discount, Summer Fridays, Birthday Off
Cons
Everything else: Immature Culture, Management, Career advancement, Disconnect between cross functional teams, Poor Communication overall

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  New York, NYNovember 15, 2017
Club monaco expects their sales associates to sell a large amount of clothing per day, at least $3,000 a day. But there is no commission. The hours are terrible as well.

Zero work hours available
Visual Merchandising (Former Employee) –  Princeton, NJOctober 31, 2017
I worked in the basement of a small store where I spent most of my time folding clothes. Very slow, very boring, and not very well paying. Co workers were nice but no hours were available.

Clientele Specialist (Former Employee) –  New York, NYSeptember 23, 2017
Fun place to work at. Most co-workers are millenials which makes it really fun; new ideas are always welcomed. Fast paced environment.
Opportunity to grow is limited.
