Warehouse Associate in Tracy, CA

Flexibility
Great place to work if you don't make plans. Schedule changes are frequent and happen or get canceled the day before a shift. Often times you will be sweeping or cleaning up trash when there's simply no work. After a short task is completed you won't know what to do without talking to someone about it.

The only reason I left the job was because I relocated across the country and even then I tried to take Clutter with me ! Awesome pay, awesome management, great team culture, just an overall perfect job experience.

Clutter is an absolutely horrid place to work.Management and HR are completely incompetent. Only gets WORSE with time, working for clutter is an absolute disaster. There is a complete lack of transparency and communication. Voiced concerns are never taken seriously and you are extremely overworked and overwhelmed. You are literally stalked by cameras 24/7 and constantly called and bugged about this and that when management is never actually there to do this or that themselves. They have no issue spreading you thin and then making it seem like you’re the problem. The retail side of this company has been open for approximately 8 months and 75% of the workers who started have now quit. Under one of SoCal’s managers 6 people have quit in just this short amount of time. It’s so utterly disappointing and not what I signed up for. I feel extremely bamboozled. Save your time, energy, and sanity by just staying away.

I loved working at Clutter it was mostly my coworkers that made each day fun and unique, it was never a dull or boring day depending on who was working that day. It was alot of team work efforts that made the work week better each day, it was a learning type bond everyone had and I loved it. What made it a terrible place to work at was the constant turnaround of management, each new manager that came in had a different way/technique of doing things, so we all had to unlearn the old way and do it the new way which most of the time didn't work and I found myself as well as other coworkers reverting back to the old way of things because it was easier and less time consuming. The company went through 3 different managements before all of us was let go. All in all this company SUCKS!!!!

The entire hiring process couldn’t be easier. The interviews were short and to the point. They let me know I was hired right away, and after the background check went through I was cleared to work. I’ve had steady hours since and the pay is good.

Interview Questions

The questions I got asked were why I want this job/why should they hire me, some questioms regarding my previous jobs, and which boss I liked more and disliked. I get the feeling this question might've been my downfall. Dude that interviewed me was clearly not a people's person too. I get the feeling I would've got the job if it was the other man interviewing. But I should be happy not working here because apparently this company blows.

For a supervisor position they focus primarily on your management style and pose a lot of situational questions. Experience is key. They mostly look for anyone who has worked for Amazon or similarly structured companies.
