Main office in management is selfish and barely communicates
Warehouse Specialist (Former Employee) –  North Bergen, NJJune 25, 2018
Warehouse workers get pin for all blames and every problem brings up meetings with all employees talks about all the problems that moving & pack have and create but no problems with warehouse because warehouse doesn't cause any problems and treats them like slaves while moving packets gets to work in warehouse and get a higher base pay rate then warehouse workers.
Pros
Free snacks, free coffee, as many hours as you lik, e Great warehouse coworkers
Cons
Lack of communication with main office, and zero sympathy for warehouse workers and compensation

One of the best Startups!
Sales/Support/Concierge Agent (Former Employee) –  Culver City, CAMay 25, 2018
Started with Clutter early on. The founder and upper management are a quality group.
Got a chance to work in several departments and develop new skills.
Focus on customers and building relationships. Decisions made with less concern on money and more on what is best for the customer.
Not with the company anymore, but I highly recommend Clutter if you are looking.
Pros
Management, environment, Culture
Cons
Healthcare variety? (Can't think of anything else.)

They want you to be a magician and fast,
You better or they will get rid of you without warning while telling you good job. They claim to be people first but are money first. Seriously they don’t care about people but what about what people can do for them.

Rules and SOP's change on a daily basis. Unfortunately you're never quite sure what's being said to you is the truth and or if it will be valid the following day. Work Schedules are a mess, Jobs are canceled often, and sometimes you feel like you cant make plans in your own life due to how schedules hours work. Jobs are not booked well, sales team books jobs fast without getting as much information as possible to make the other half of the process easier. Management never seems to know about particular things that would benefit you as an employee but knows everything that can hold you back from advancement through the company. The Starting pay is great! if hours were guaranteed as a full time employee working with the smaller issues the company has wouldn't feel so hard. Coffee and snacks are provided for employees before leaving for jobs to get your day started, that was always appreciated. Group outings when KPI's are met is a plus!
Pros
Pay, Coffee and snacks, Meeting new people
Cons
random hours, nothings gaurenteed, Management, communication

Fast-Paced, Forward Thinking Company
Performance Consultant (Current Employee) –  Culver City, CAMarch 19, 2018
My experience at Clutter has been, and continues to be, extremely valuable. I've never been more challenged or felt more rewarded. Clutter sets the bar high, and expects a lot out of its employees - but for those who are driven and interested in growth (both professionally as well as personally), it's the right place to be.

Great place to work and learn skills for advancement
Performance Consultant (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAMarch 19, 2018
The level of talent of those currently working at Clutter is impressive and the opportunities to learn from extremely intelligent colleagues is unmatched. Opportunities to learn new job skills to take into your future career exist if you seek them out. Company culture to date is positive; Clutter continues to seek out methods to measure performance fairly and with regularity. At times it can feel clunky or confusing, but it feels like we’re headed in the right direction.

Rapid changes can be challenging to keep straight

Working at Clutter HQ (10 months in)
Communications Manager (Current Employee) –  Culver City, CAMarch 16, 2018
So far, I've really liked working at Clutter!

Some of my favorite things about the company:
-Tons of autonomy and ability to run with your own ideas
-Schedule and vacation flexibility
-High growth company
-If you're a top performance, tons of opportunity for upward mobility
-A lot of transparency into the health and performance of the company
-Culture of hard work and a healthy intensity
-Exceptionally smart and awesome people

Some of my least favorite things about the company:
-The pay, relative to other startups, is OK, but probably could be a little better
-HQ is increasingly more crowded (a symptom – and signal of – how quickly we're growing)

If you aren't ready for an intense, fast-paced work environment, this company is not for you.
Pros
Awesome health care

A growing start-up with all hands on deck
Customer Care (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAMarch 16, 2018
Working at Clutter has put me in a field I never imagined myself pursuing but can see a growing demand for. Start-up culture development and scaling can be challenging but is part of the excitement! In working at Clutter, you'll find a fun community of people who've been hired for their intelligence and care. The work is challenging, as is any position dealing with customer experience, but will definitely help you grow.

I highly recommend Clutter as an employer and feel heard by management and all departments. They're constantly seeking the best talent and betterment of the organization as a whole.
Pros
Challenging work, start-up mentality, benefits, camaraderie
Cons

Rewarding work place with ample opportunity
Care Team (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAMarch 16, 2018
- Fast growing, values-driven startup with great financial backing
- Great benefits for all positions
- Lots of room for advancement for those who work hard
- High expectations for all positions. They look for self-starters who will do what it takes to get the job done.
- The best part of working here is the people. The hiring process screens out everyone except nice, supportive, hardworking people.
- Lots of cross-department collaboration. You meet and work with people from across the company, regardless of your position.
- Everyone in the company, even execs, goes on quarterly "field trips" as a member of the Move & Pack team. This keeps open communication across the company, and the decision-makers at the top get regular experience as movers.
Pros
benefits, teammates, advancement opportunities, good compensation, values-driven
Cons
fast changes typical of successful start-ups

Business Development (Current Employee) –  Culver City, CAMarch 16, 2018
I've worked at Clutter for over two and a half years. It's been an amazing and unique experience to partake in the evolution from a young and small startup to one that is nationwide and funded by the top venture capital firms.

Each day is different but the work is exciting, challenging, and well worth the effort required. The management teams here are actively striving to help improve their teams on a daily basis. Overall, there are a variety of resources available to advance your career and improve your personal development.

If you are looking for a challenge and want to help make the world more convenient, this is the place for you.

Change is inevitable but wonderful if embraced
CX (Current Employee) –  Culver City, CAMarch 16, 2018
I have been at Clutter since day 1. We have gone through several changes. One thing that has remained consistent is the constant reminder that we are a team and not a family. Some like this and some don't. Growing pains are part of any start up and again, some can handle this and some can't. If you are not one who can handle change then Clutter is not for you. If you cannot handle working with others, Clutter is not for you. If you are prepared to work hard and go above and beyond, get ready to feel the love and be rewarded. There are free lunches, snacks and breakfast daily. Loud gong punches for hitting goals and records, and annual BBQs to enjoy while the CEO makes his famous burgers! A CEO who is nearby to answer important questions if you have them. A V.P of CX who is there to coach you and make sure you excel. This is a transparent review - Clutter is a competitive and metric driven company, but I love it here and am blessed to be here. Management has improved drastically. The room is filled with inspiration and drive and as long as you give each day your all, you can go home feeling good about your contribution towards the company.

Awesome place to work, everyone is very helpful, nice and works together to get the job done. Manager is really cool too
Warehouse Specialist (Current Employee) –  Ontario, CAMarch 14, 2018
Benefits are good, free life insurance and schedule options are great and so are the people. It only took me one day to figure out how to use the app but most of the time I'm finding a place to put stuff away. A lot of lifting, pushing, pulling, squating and walking.
Pros
Benifits, people, fast work.
Cons
No 401k plan

Great company to work for
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR (Current Employee) –  North Bergen, NJFebruary 27, 2018
Great company to work for. No room for advancement in the company. Beyond amazing CEO who makes a culture fit in the company a major priority. This company is a start-up so life/work balance will be very limited. So a ton of your personal time will be spent working from home also.

Good place to work when there is work
Move and pack specialist (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJanuary 30, 2018
Typical day is meeting customers, cataloguing and prepping items for moving. Good company to work for, had issues with one “manager” that a lot of other employees had the same problem with, no surprise there. Workplace culture is great, hardest part of the job is getting your hours cut for no reason. The overall job is great, when they let you work.
Pros
Very flexible
Cons
Management could do a better job managing. Not all of the managers, just one.
